We are two friends from Finland who want to help people save money on their electricity bills. Today, electricity bills can be a significant part of a household's monthly expenses and we decided to create a solution that lets people easily check the hourly changing electricity price. The colour of the light indicates the price at the given moment.
While similar solutions exist, they often require a certain level of technical knowledge, such as coding skills, or the use of hardware like Raspberry Pi. We wanted to create a solution that is accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical expertise. That's why we decided to use Philips Hue as the foundation of our solution. As the market leader in smart lighting, Philips Hue provides a reliable and user-friendly platform for controlling your lights.
